SportRx, based in San Diego, California, is a leading provider of prescription sports eyewear, primarily catering to men aged 30-65 who are athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Specializing in eyewear for activities like cycling, running, and snowboarding, SportRx offers custom lenses and frames to ensure optimal performance and vision protection. With a vast selection from top-tier brands such as Oakley and Ray-Ban, along with a seamless shopping experience that includes expert consultations, SportRx has become a trusted source for premium sports eyewear.
During my five years at SportRx, I designed and created a wide range of assets, from Instagram posts to branded apparel and merchandise. While adhering to established brand guidelines, I incorporated current trends to keep the visuals fresh and engaging. I developed consistent color grading for images taken by the media team, designed YouTube thumbnails and graphics, and crafted captivating ads and social media posts. Additionally, I created infographics for blogs and designed effective email campaigns that resonated with the audience.

Edited Images
I edited and enhanced both studio and outdoor lifestyle photography, as well as product images taken by the media team, to deliver high-quality visuals for blogs, product pages, and marketing campaigns. My focus was on maintaining visual consistency, making sure all imagery aligned with the overall brand aesthetic and resonated with our target audience.
Youtube Thumbnails &
Video Graphics
I developed a thumbnail template system, in use from 2019 to 2023, that streamlined visual consistency across content. Anticipating a rebrand, I collaborated on testing and refining multiple design variations to create a more adaptable and flexible template.
Additionally, I designed engaging lower third graphics for YouTube video content, maintaining a cohesive visual style that enhanced viewer engagement and brand identity across all video outputs from 2019 to 2024.
Blog Infographics
Collaborated closely with writers to create infographics that complemented and enhanced the content. Through feedback and multiple iterations, we developed visuals that made complex information more accessible and easier to understand, while maintaining a cohesive design.
Online Marketing
Email Graphics
Collaborated with the email marketing team in designing graphic assets for email campaigns, tailored to resonate with different sports audiences. Each email came with assets crafted to capture the reader’s attention and enhance the overall impact of the campaign.

Iconography & Illustrations
Designed custom icons and illustrations for various online platforms, including ads, email campaigns, videos, blogs, and social media, enhancing the visual appeal and cohesion of digital marketing and content.
Print & Packaging
I designed lead generator QR code posters and lanyards for events, along with influencer care package boxes and insert cards included with every pair of purchased sunglasses. Additionally, I handled vendor communications to secure the best production prices.
Creative Briefs
I collaborated on creating creative briefs that guided influencers in promoting SportRx's eyewear, alongside other brands, through engaging and authentic content. The briefs highlighted custom prescription options, durability, and specialized lens technology tailored to each sport.
Branded Merchandise
I collaborated with the creative director to design and produce branded apparel and other merchandise, including water bottles, stickers and a custom cycling kit for employees, influencers, giveaways, and promotional events.
